Pieva – is a fully electric, low draft pontoon type boat concept.

Envisioned as part of the planned public transport system on the Neris River. Inspired by the city’s green ambitions it becomes not only a means of transport but also a floating fragment of a Neris islands, creating a connection with the city’s landscape.

The vessele is 20 meter long and 9 meter wide. Pieva catamaran is distinguished by a sleek three level spatial structure.

The design was inspired by real islands within the Neris River in Vilnius. Islands forms served as the basis for the final shape of the boat concept – “Pieva”.

The goal of this project was to design a functional and aesthetically compelling water transport solution. Guided by urban, ecological and technical analysis of the city, supported by best practices and individual creativity.
